A small number of plate pressing plants need too thin wood grain paper in order to reduce the cost, so scratches and other problems will occur after a long time of use. Whether it is a wood board or an ecological board, high-quality board cores often have few gaps.

Of course, in the process of purchasing plates, we should carefully observe whether there are cracks on the side of the plate core. If it is an ecological plate, even if there are a few cracks, it will not affect the normal use. In addition, plywood is not allowed to have any cracks under normal circumstances. If plywood has cracks, it is an unqualified product. Therefore, it is recommended that you do not buy such plates as much as possible.

The texture of veneer veneer is generally straight texture, and the texture pattern will have certain rules. However, for natural wood veneer, the variation of the surface pattern texture is relatively large, and there are no rules.

2. observe the surface flatness

The surface of the plate shall be smooth and flat without burr, scratch, etc. the plate with no crack, skin clip and knot on the surface shall be selected to avoid the sand penetration of the substrate due to improper sanding process.

The appearance of the plate is uniform, the color is clear, and the texture is clear. Moreover, the plate matching and mosaic texture should be arranged regularly, and the seam is almost parallel to the plate edge.

Plates are produced under high temperature and high pressure. The surface of qualified plates is often smooth, and no obvious concave convex or unevenness can be seen through squint observation. Choose and buy quality plates whose surface should be flat.

3. the adhesive layer is stable without glue opening

Pay attention to whether there are bulges and delaminations between the sheet veneer and the substrate.

4. surface scratch resistance

This option is only applicable to veneered plywood or eco board.

5. smell

Although formaldehyde is colorless and tasteless, the VOC contained in the glue will cause harm to human body and give off a pungent smell. If there is an obvious pungent smell, it is not recommended to buy it.
